PLEASED is a mental health focused organisation that provides accessible tools and resources for people struggling with people-pleasing in their day-to-day lives. As the cost of mental health care rises and adults especially vulnerable to people-pleasing, PLEASED aims to bridge the gap between people-pleasers and the rising costs of therapy for adults aged 18-25, including university students and full-time workers.
Affirmation Cards
Affirmation cards are provided to have constant, uplifting, positive reminders that help reshape self-talk and self-esteem. It reminds users the importance of consistent and repetitive messaging that encourages a need to put yourself first, where self-care is imperative and this idea of surrounding ourselves with mindsets we want to achieve.
Challenge Cards
Challenge cards are created to provide a way of taking small steps to improve boundary setting, mindfulness and overall wellbeing. As being a people-pleaser can be exhausting, these challenges are presented to help elevate the user by encouraging them to participate where it is aimed to improve their wellbeing. This is done by engaging in new hobbies or experiences as well as boundary setting to help alter behaviours, challenge cards are used as an initial step in the right direction.
The Toolkit
The toolkit encompasses a range of products all in one package to be able to access mulitple tools in one go. It includes both affirmation and challenge cards and motivational stickers to be placed in an individual’s workspace.
Stickers
Stickers have been created as a way of involving user interaction, by giving them the space to place these stickers around their workspace as small reminders of the brand’s overall message, motivation of progress and encouraging messages that uplift the user.
